Acqua Mater is not the result of a market demand or a business opportunity, but rather of the non-linear studies and diverse experiences of its founder in distinct sectors, promoting a systemic and integrated vision of what has been her greatest passion since childhood: the WATER-OCEAN World.
Passion and hobby turned into work. Acqua Mater's mission is to give back: taking care of water and the ocean as they have always taken care of every human being and the planet. How? Promoting HEALTH and LIFE in personal, social, and environmental spheres. Awakening love. Because "if you love, you take care”.
The first years confirmed that it was the right decision, particularly amid the climate crisis, water scarcity, water contamination. Additionally, mental health problems such as burnout, anxiety, and depression further emphasize the urgency of reconnecting with our emotions, with our waters.
Acqua Mater <> Mother Water
The correct Latin spelling would be Aqua Mater. However, the use of "Acqua" with the letter "c" is a tribute to the Italian word for "water", since it was in Italy that Patricia started her research on the Memories of the Water and on Our Marine Memories, where the roots of Acqua Mater are.
Acqua Mater's projects produce an extremely powerful and rare result by converging the human, technical, and artistic gaze on water. The partnership between Acqua Mater and Waterlution began in 2018, and all the experiences we co-produced (Lectures, Mentorships, Water Facilitation) were of high quality and transformative effect for the participants, resonating in everyone to this day.
